Over the years, our members have taken some amazingly detailed images of a variety of astronomical objects and some stunning wide-field vistas.

Taking these kinds of images can be technologically challenging, requiring attention to detail with camera settings, tracking, guiding etc
- often while cold, tired and in serious need of a cup of tea!

Often, while learning the art and science of astrophotography, things will go wrong...

These images show that with patience, perseverance, diligence and good luck with the weather, all that effort can lead to some incredible results.
