Welcome

Thank you for visiting blackpoolastronomy.org.uk - the website of the Blackpool & District Astronomical Society.

The society was founded in October 1986 by keen local amateur astronomers. The society is growing and has around twenty members, with a wide cross section from novices to experienced observers.

Meetings take place on a regular basis on the first Wednesday of each month.

Meetings are friendly, relaxed and informal and all are welcome to attend.
